At Majestical Maine Cattery we specialise in more than just breed standards. We think it’s so important to raise confident and well socialised kittens, our kittens have been handled and played with daily, they’re used to nail trims, being brushed and bathed. If you‘ve done your research on this breed you’ll know they do come with maintenance, while the Maine Coon breed known for being laid back and less energetic as others they do require grooming maintenance, this is why we build their confidence at such an early age and get them desensitised to as much as possible before they leave us.
Our kittens have been raised around dogs & children, they are used to lots of noise as they are raised in our home where they should be! We want the best for our kittens when they go to their forever families which is why we give them the best from day one and include them in our everyday life, getting them used to as much as possible to give them as much confidence as we can.
Our queens require a higher calorie, nutrient dense diet during pregnancy and nursing, these include kitten food and a specialised diet as they provide extra protein, fat and calories this is more expensive than their usual diet.
Pregnant queens need additional vitamins and minerals, like folic acid, calcium, and taurine to support fetal development and their own health. Nursing queens also need extra calcium, magnesium and DHA (omega-3 fatty acids) to help with milk production and overall well being. We also use probiotics to support gut health, boost immunity and prevent digestive issues during pregnancy and nursing.
Increased feeding frequency and amount; pregnant queens eat more to support the growing kittens, and nursing queens need even more food to produce milk and for their own wellbeing.
Our prices for our kittens start at £1400, this price includes;
- your non-refundable deposit (to secure your kitten)
- all vaccinations prior to leaving us
